A graduate of Art Center College of Design.

he has worked with The New York Times and The New Yorker.

On his free time Medar volunteers, providing Art workshops and book cart services at Rikers Island.

Medar is a Pulitzer Prize winner for Illustrated Reporting and Commentary.
